The Advisory Committee (AC) is indirectly elected by the AGM. Only one of its seven members is appointed directly, the others are appointees of the Executive Committee.

• Outward appearance and presentation of TAREA,
• Ensure standards, both in respect to TAREA's work and the industry in Tanzania,
• Devise strategies on sustaining and increasing membership,
• Arrange for workshops, conferences, exhibition and other representative events.
