Solar Modulel Theft
Since Solar Modules are mostly installed outside and have become a sign of profitability and sustainability, they are unfortunatelety sometimes subject to envy, theft and vandalism. Therefore, TAREA urges every owner of Solar-Systems to take care of the security! Nothing would be more bothering than losing a new SHS due to inappropriate mouting. Especially public institutions have been victim of thievery.

Since SHS are very valuable and keep their use over years, a tight and durable fixutre is a 'must-have' of every installation. Even though security concerns are widely known and every TAREA-Coperate Member / Technician is aware of it, we recommend to emphasize a safe attachment of the modules nevertheless. Furthermore, we would like to give you following hints to take along:
- Installing solar modules in places which are nor susceptible to theft
- Presence of security guards where Solar-Systems indispensable
- Designing mounting structure whereby solar module frames are inserted in the locked structure
- Use of special designed screws & fixture material like "Shear Bolts"
